I ate here about 8 years ago and had fun eating the food It was so good. So, I decided to stop by and eat again since I was in the area. Once again it didn’t disappoint. I got the chicken enchiladas. So good. The server Bryanna was really nice and provided great service.
The service was ABSOLUTELY inviting, and the food was excellent! I also loved the ambience! I thought of it as homely..and I try to take everyone I can there.
We paused for a snack and drink during our motorcycle trip. Bryanna provided us with excellent service; she was attentive and courteous. We enjoyed their house margarita, which offered a refreshing balance of flavor and alcohol, and shared a delicious plate of nachos. The salsa was homemade and exceptionally good, and I believe everything, including the chips, was homemade. It was definitely a pleasant place to stop and enjoy some good food.
Currently open to outdoor patio open. Passing through the second Demming NM, exit. Stopped for breakfast. Was pleasantly surprised by the wait staff. They are helpful and overall not much of a wait time for small parties. The food was great and authentic. Loved my Breakfast Steak Combo. The steak was cooked well and the Enchiladas are delicious as well. Would come back agsin.
The lunch buffet was excellent best chili colorado I've ever had very spicy. Red cheese enchiladas green cheese enchiladas talk to me cuz deep fried bean burritos Spanish rice excellent pinto beans well-stocked salad bar vanilla pudding tapioca pudding chocolate pudding. Excellent service and atmosphere not very crowded 1 p.m. in the afternoon. They also serve beer. Easy parking in front and to the side of the building can accommodate one 18 wheeler or a truck with a long trailer. Clean inside restaurant area and very clean also in bathrooms old restaurant has been there for decades.
Family own business and one of the Demings favorite spot. Where just about everyone know each other in some form of way. Food is always good here. When I come in town we always stop by to eat. Today I step on for Breakfast. Had the Chilaquiles they where fantastic. A must have
La Fonda provided the catering for a unit of Marine in 2009. My husband was part of the operation so we HAD to stop while passing through. The food was awesome.
Excellent food! Wasn't sure how good the Mexican food would be since half the menu is American food but they didn't disappoint. I wish I would have been there when they had their buffet though. I think that's on Tuesday, Friday and Saturday.
